David plays a song he wrote called “Contemporary Insanity” from his 2004 album ‘The Muse Awakens’ with progressive rock band Happy The Man. Dave is playing all his keyboard parts live along with the other recorded parts from the album.
This video is one of David's favorite keyboard solos. It was recorded with Rainbow live at the Budokan in Tokyo back in 1984. It was David's 2nd World Tour with Rainbow and he was only 23 at the time.
One of the only live performances ever from Red Dawn has found it's way to YouTube! In 1992 David & Larry Baud did a promo tour of Japan, and this acoustic version of "I'll Be There" was performed live on Japanese Television.
David performed the National Anthem at Fenway Park in Boston for the World Series champion Red Sox on September 24, 2018.
David performed the National Anthem on piano at the Dodgers game on May 10, 2017.
The Red Sox invited David to throw out the first pitch as part of Billy Joel Night at Fenway Park. David also accepted an award on Billy Joel's behalf from the Red Sox Foundation for Billy's help in raising funds for the charity.
